I have around half a dozen tabs open relating to AI rights, ethics, roboethics, etc. All of this for a story and/or webcomic I plan on doing sometime in the near-ish future (near being sometime in 2012). I’m also planning on writing up a couple essays in the near-ish future (there’s that term again!), one of which will be pro AI/robot rights and the other against said rights, mainly to get into the heads of some of the oppositional sides I’ll end up having in my rapidly forming universe.
I also need to do some more research on real world advances and techniques in AI and robot research and development, but only some. I don’t plan to go too hard science with this, partly because I don’t have the knowledge / background to do so, but partly to make it more accessible. But having some knowledge of how it all works or might work would be useful, I think.
Anyways, off to bed for me. I can read all that stuff later on today, but for now I need sleep. So yes, a look into my life or whatever, a potential sneak peek if everything pans out, we’ll see. Anyways… not sure where I’m going with this. Off to bed! *whoosh*
